All of our foster dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, have been wormed, have received age appropriate immunizations and are spayed / neutered.. Despite their tough start these little guys will make loving pets for good homes. Foster parent phone numbers are included with the listing. Why not call and adopt one today?

If you don't find a "pup" for you on our list, please consider the surrendered and stray pets sheltered at the Stanly County Animal Control. They are located at 1037 Coble Avenue in Albemarle. Their phone number is 704-986-3881. Adopted pets will be examined, appropriately immunized, and either spayed or neutered.

With her black and white coat and intelligence, we believe 'Cookie' is mixed border collie, although she isn't fixated on herding and seems not to need a job...she does, however, love being with people and is most compatible with other dogs and cats, has an ID implant, crate-trained, 12 wk. old spayed female, one ear at attention, the other relaxed, fostered at 704-463-1015.Click photo for larger view

His appearance has changed so much since he came in at 8 wk. of age, now 12 wk. old, neutered, 'Jake' has developed a profile that reminds us of bull terrier, not that we've ever seen a stray one in the county.....his ears have sorta climbed up higher on his head and folded over, another terrier trait, but there's no mistaking the black lab connection either with the shiny coat and webbed feet....taken altogether, he's a calm, bright pet fostered at 704-982-3003.
