Cats Available for Adoption - Stanly County Animal Rescue League

All of our foster cats have been examined by a veterinarian, are leukemia negative, have been wormed, have received age appropriate immunizations and have been spayed / neutered. Despite their tough start these little guys will make loving pets for good homes. Foster parent phone numbers are included with the listing. Why not call and adopt one today?

If you don't find a "purr-fect feline" for you on our list, please consider the surrendered and stray pets sheltered at the Stanly County Animal Control. They are located at 1037 Coble Avenue in Albemarle. Their phone number is 704-986-3881. Adopted pets will be examined, appropriately immunized, and either spayed or neutered.

He had a rough start, arriving with injuries consistent with having ridden either in an engine or been entangled in a fan belt. However, he's healing nicely and seems not to have been traumatized by the experience. He's, in fact, an affectionate fellow, shadowing one around and perferring naps on laps, shoulders, or necks....'Loverboy' is 10 wk. old and will be available after being neutered on October 29, fostered at 704-982-9239. 'Sir Purr, 12 wk. old neutered male, accustomed to mature resident felines in the home, playful and affectionate and happy to be able to be close to his foster family on their return from work. After he was neutered and still in the clinic, an employee's toddler took a shine to him and he to her, so we can safely say this kitten is child tolerant, fostered at 704-985-1136.'
